Maltby & Hilton WI have happily hosted their monthly meetings and social events in MVH since it was established, it is the perfect venue for our demonstrations and talks, the hall has good natural daylight and three lightening options to suit our needs. The locality is ideal for our members traveling from Hilton, Ingleby Barwick, Thornaby, Middlesbrough and Stokesley and has good road links for Speakers travelling from further afield. The kitchen facilities suit our WI programme well, we recently held a successful quiz fundraiser there, our ladies served 40 hot pie and peas to precision aided by the induction range cooker and the industrial dishwasher.
As part of our son's wedding celebrations, we enjoyed a lunch in Maltby village hall for 50 people. We hired caterers and they state the kitchen facilities are second to none. Several people with limited mobility attended and again the facilities for people with disability are very good, a toilet for people with physical disability, use of a wheelchair, level access, and parking for a car outside the door. Over the years I have attended several events for which the hall lends itself for murder mystery, quizzes, afternoon teas, lunches and various charitable events. Maltby Village Hall is a great venue.
I found the lovely venue of Maltby Village Hall when I needed to find new premises to run my early years music classes during and after Covid.
It is the best hall I have ever found in my 25 years of running my classes. Ever since my first contact to go and view the hall I cannot fault anything. My email was replied to very quickly and I was welcomed to see the facilities which at that time had all precautions and hygiene procedures put in place. I was already impressed by the committee team running it. It has always been easy to contact Ez about the premises and the treasurer emails me invoices direct. The facilities are always clean and fresh, thanks to Carol the regular cleaner. Parking spaces are available courtesy of the pub nearby and I can park by the hall for easy loading of my resources.
I love working at Maltby and cannot recommend it highly enough.
Maltby Village Hall is a fantastic venue to hire. It is bright, vibrant, spacious and modern. The room size is excellent and lends itself to almost any activity to be delivered in there – Ceramic Art classes, Tai Chi, Sewing and much more. Staff go above and beyond to offer support and ensure the venue is suitable for use - nothing is too much trouble. Parking is available close to the centre. If you are looking for a venue to hire then look no further. We have recently started delivering classes from the venue and will definitely be returning!
Having lived in Maltby for many years, I have felt that the village hall has always been at the heart of the village, hosting parties, meetings and seasonal events for residents and visitors. Recently refurbished and brought up to modern standards, the hall has developed into a Community Centre to suit all, whatever your requirements. The fully equipped kitchen has modern electrical appliances including a full size cooker, dishwasher and fridge, glasses and crockery plus tables and comfortable chairs in the hall to seat around 40 - 50 guests. The toilets provide baby changing and disabled facilities and there is an off road parking space for a vehicle with a disabled driver or passenger directly outside the hall door. The hall is heated, clean, fresh and hygienic, making it suitable for exercise groups such as Yoga and Pilates as well as children's and babies activities. Installation of WiFi allows online courses and meetings to be accessed.
